La fusion en direct est une suppression d'instantané pendant que la machine virtuelle est en cours d'exécution. Une fusion en direct est lancée lorsqu'un utilisateur clique sur la commande "supprimer" associée à un instantané de disque pendant que la VM est en cours d'exécution. La fusion en direct est une opération asynchrone et le processus est assez complexe.

Prenons l'exemple d'un instantané de laboratoire "test002" de suppression en direct. Vous verrez l'état de verrouillage lorsque l'opération est en cours dans la base de données du moteur et cette entrée d'instantané disparaîtra une fois la suppression de l'instantané terminée.
