Ma carte vidéo fonctionne bien, je n'ai pas de problème d'écran.
J'essaie de générer un xorg.conf donc j'ai fait :
[ Logout ]
sudo service gdm stop
[ Move away xorg.conf.back and xorg.conf.fglrx-0 that were in /etc/X11 ]
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
sudo X -configure
Mais cette dernière commande segfault :

C'est étrange qu'il segfault alors que je peux utiliser Gnome sans problème mais bon...
Peut-être lié :j'ai essayé d'installer le pilote depuis le site Web d'ATI récemment, et à partir de là, glxgears plante au démarrage.
Comment puis-je générer xorg.conf dans ces conditions ?
Cela peut impliquer ou non de résoudre le problème de l'erreur de segmentation.

Le pilote d'Ati vous fournit aticonfig qui est responsable de la gestion de votre xorg.conf si vous utilisez un pilote propriétaire. Pour générer le xorg.conf exécutez alors :
aticonfig --initial
